When I first spun this CD , my immediate reaction was one of disappointment - I flicked through trying to find the techno latin dance tracks...there weren't any. I am working very long hours at the moment, but I have time on my journey each way to squeeze in a whole album, and I have played this every journey this week, so 10 plays later (which I never expected to do) , it has grown on me, it is unquestionably a quality product and as you quite correctly point out, Matt Bianco appear to have gone full circle, but at the same time matured like a fine wine. I really hope this gets the commercial success it deserves - this is perfect airplay for chill out jazz radio stations, and a great album for chilling out with a pimms and lemonade on a summers day. My one complaint has to be that in this modern age, the concept of CD singles has gone - that is a real shame because there would have been a great opportunity to release 'dance mixes' in the techno latin style that we are accustomed with - some of these tunes would transfer wonderfully to this style.
